Support the SPCA Of Brevard

SPCA of Brevard is the largest, private no-kill animal shelter in Brevard and they are celebrating 40 years of saving lives in 2019.

Visit them at 6035 Sisson Road in Titusville – or online HERE – and follow them on Facebook.

Open 7 days a week, the SPCA accepts owner surrenders, they also help the Brevard County Shelter by taking many strays that are found in north Brevard, and they save animals from open admission shelters all over the state of Florida.

Kitten season is starting soon – foster families are needed to raise abandoned kittens and mothers with litters. The SPCA provides everything you need and will train.  Kitten season supplies needed: Kitten Milk Replacer, dry and canned Purina kitten food, towels, and blankets.

Other ways to help: Donate, Adopt, Volunteer (and Foster).  The Volunteer program includes working with dogs and/or cats in the shelter, walking dogs, taking animals to events, and helping pets get adopted.  Foster Program – includes kittens and puppies that are too young to be adopted, as well as adult dogs and cats for medical (mange, upper respiratory, etc), as well as behavior and socialization.

The SPCA pays for all costs during foster periods. Weekend Warriors – take a dog home for the weekend and report back to the SPCA how that dog did in your home and at places you visited. Take lots of photos and help the SPCA market that dog in order to find a forever home.
